Where It All Began....... My Otaku Life(Anime CDs)

Everyone's otaku life all began with the one anime that started everything. That goes the same for me, my otaku life started with an anime that everyone knows ........... Naruto.

I know.......stopped collecting after realising download was actually possible. I don't even watch it as often now.
But of coarse the collecting hobby just continued and it never stops.........
It started with.......

One stack.......

Then two stacks........

And now three stacks..........it all sums up to....

65 cds in total ( not including the naruto cds and some that were somewhere else I don't even know )
Out of all the 65 cds ( or more ) I have my favourite animes ( who doesn't ) which are

Uta no Prince sama !!!!!!!
One of my favourite anime because of the HOT GUYS / FAVOURITE SEIYUUS creative story plot and the beautiful music they produce .

Free ! Iwatobi Swimclub
If you don't know Free !........... please get a life. Its an anime FULL OF HOT GUYS that can motivate people to do some swimming and admire abs.

Kuroshitsuji 1 and 2
which I also have the CD with the OVAs but......I didn't know where it went.....
Still waiting for the Book of Circus which is something like the 3rd season to come out in CD.

Danganronpa
which is the anime I cosplayed from. I cosplayed as Celestia Ludenberg because her hair looks awesome and I also love her ring. (  Celes is my second cosplay ).

K project
A nice anime until my favourite character died .... ( MIKOTO....... so sad ). They also have a movie which is K Missing Kings which came out around June in Cinemas for one day only ( I regret that I didn't go ) waiting for the movie to be released in CD.

Shugo Chara
The first few animes that I watched when I was 12 I think.....or was it 11.....I don't know.
Its a good anime that teaches people to have self confidence even though too much self confidence can end up getting oneself in trouble. I actually considered cosplaying from this anime but then.........I got caught up in doing another cosplay ( First cosplay was Yui from Angel Beats )

 La corda D'oro
This is the anime that motivated me in taking up another instrument which is the flute. Not many people appreciate classical music these days.

Amnesia
An anime with HOT GUYS a girl that lost her memories and was trying regain them back with the help of her friends .

Diabolik lovers
An anime about a girl being given to vampires as a sacrifice and just as predicted she also became a vampire so............ya........ but at least the guys are hot.

Brothers conflict
The only thing I could come up in my mind while watching this anime is How could a person have 13 sons and imagine having thirteen brothers ( Like one younger brother isn't enough ) and a talking squirrel ( which is kinda creepy at the same time cool ) but still....... going back to reality our brothers don't really look that hot.

Kaichou wa Maid sama
Quite an old anime but with a really interesting storyline........and a really hot guy.

Gosick
Because one of the main characters ( Victorique ) looks super cute and also because I enjoy watching animes that are about solving mysteries.

Kuroko no basket
Which is probably coming up with season 3 because of the huge cliff hanger at the end of season 2. I am just wondering how long can a basketball match last.......

By the way if you're wondering where I keep all the anime cds its in......

A very old cupboard ( sorry about the crappy pictures because........... me taking photos is like me playing archery.......its horrible )

So.........these are the few animes that I like and I hope that you enjoyed reading about some of my opinions on the animes ( I have no intention to brag........so if you don't like it........its OK because everyone has different opinions )
I don't have the biggest anime cd collection but........I just wanted to share it.

Anime Magazines / Artbooks etc. Collection .

I said in my previous blog that I would post about something anime related again so........here I am posting about the Anime Magazines and Artworks and more stuff . ( No intention in bragging so..........ya ).

My love for these stuff started with an otome game walk through book .

Its from La'corda D'oro which has an anime with 2 seasons and manga series .
I then later continued to collect walk through books .The ones that I have are......

Uta no prince sama and...

Diabolik lovers which are otome games that have an anime for it .

I then later got into Artwork Books. The first few I got was.....

Vampire knights

Kuroshitsuji 1 and 2

Amnesia

CHAM the comic fiesta official art collection and

Yana Toboso official artworks ( caused me a fortune for all these books but it was WORTH IT )
Being able to see how they draw the characters always fascinate me, like how they are able to make it into an anime is just incredible to me . Especially drawing all the manga which always take ages to complete .

I then "discovered" a small section in Kinokuniya book store's japanese section where they actually sell japanese cosplay books . The magazines that I am collecting are called COSMODE.

I only started collecting at book 52 ( Missed like 50 books ) which so far I collected till book 57.
It provides information on how to do your makeup, how to style your wig, how to sew cosplay costumes ( they also provide the patterns needed to sew on a very large piece of paper ), how to make props and more stuff related to cosplay . To me its THE BEST BOOK EVER a really good book to take reference from .

  World cosplay summit official photobook 2013

Love-Cos ( because they have costume patterns )

OTACOOL 2 ( I don't know why I don't have book 1 ) The book tells you how to enjoy cosplay and they also talk about the cosplay industry while interviewing some cosplayers from different countries. Cosplayers like Aira, Haruna Kozue, and many others .They also interviewed Danny Choo and KANAME.

CHAM C ( A book made by comic fiesta about our cosplay photographers in Malaysia and a few from Singapore )

CURE ( bought the book because KANAME was on the front cover )

COSMODE THE NATION ( A book where they feature cosplayers from all over the world )

As a cosplayer I am a huge fan of Reika Arikawa so I have to have her photobooks

 I got these during C2age. ( was literally fangirling when she shook my hand ) The friend that I went with was soooooo overly happy that she forgot to take what she bought.

I also got zeasonal's photobook too.

Love the graphics.

I went to Japan last year and I found this magazine so I just bought it because I saw kuroko

It actually came with 5 files which surprised me because I though it was just a magazine.
Lesson learned : It is always good to arrive at the airport early especially in japan.

And one more magazine that is about a drama that released in one of the last few months is

Black butler visual book.
I also got the CD for the drama and it did not go as I expected ( spoiler for the people who did not watch the movie ). Ciel was a girl and at the last scene was so called " kissed " by sebastian .

So.......ya that's 'some' of the books I have and many more to come so hope you enjoyed this blog and please look forward to the next blog . ( Imagine the money being spent on these books ) I can always see the money flying out of my wallet and bank account . ( that also includes my parents for the money )

Manga Collection after 5 years

Manga is something that never bores me when I am reading it multiple times so you could say that it is something that can be collected and my collection definitely grew a lot since I was 10 ( I am now 15 so its been 5 years ).

it all started with the manga I still love " Fruit Basket "

I don't have book 5-10 but I am still looking for them.

The second series I bought was " Alice Academy " which has unfortunately stopped production for the english manga ( All of the Tokyo Pop mangas have stop production after the earth quick ).

It only got up to book 15 but it is still a good series.

I later then got into " Vampire Kinghts " which is still an on going series.

I got book 1-10 in a set and 11-18 individually.

After all the Vampire madness in my brain, I went into the world of  " Shugo Chara "

I got the whole collection including the Mini series " Shugo Chara-Chan "

After that craze I got into one of the biggest crazes " Kuroshitsuji " which is Black Butler.

It is still on going so I am always looking foward to it even though I've already read it on the internet.

I then later got into " Alice in the country of Hearts / Clover / Joker "

 They have a lot more series coming out so I am looking foward to it .

I also got the " Ouran High School Host Club " 1-18 book set.

 Cost me my fortune but it was worth it .

The betrayal knows my name is one of my favourite books but it had stop production for quite a while so I am not sure if it is still going to continue .

Hope it still continues because book 6 is like a clift hanger.

La corda D'oro was the anime that influced me to play the flute so I have always cherished the books and the anime for it is the one that incresed my love for music .

My future were in these books .Without it I would be only playing the piano.

V.B.Rose is a very old anime and manga so I did not manage to het the whole collection . They also stopped because they were under Tokyo Pop.

A book about love and wedding dresses are always a good change of pace.

And not forgetting " Attack on Titan " which is a huge hit right now is also one of my favourites .

It is still on going . Currently they have it until book 12 but I am just waiting for the right time to carry a bomb ( fill up the whole basket ) at the book store.

The earl and the fairy only had 4 books which is suprising .

I also have some random mangas which I did not continue to collect because it is either under Tokyo Pop or I just did not really like it or I just can't find it anymore .

Crimcon Empire hasn't come out for quite a while but it is a good book.

I am going to post about something anime realated next too so please look foward to it.
If you're thinking that's all the manga I got......well......no there are still a few more but they weren't complete because they are being borrowed to a friend and some of them.......were just 1-2 books currently so I might update again when the collection goes out of controll.
